Dr Mupompa established her practice in Vanderbijlpark to make a meaningful difference in the community. Her vision is a practice where every patient feels welcomed, heard, respected and understood.
“My decision to become a doctor came from a genuine desire to help people. There is a special fulfilment in knowing that you have made someone’s life a little easier, eased their suffering, or helped them find hope during a difficult time.”
Dr Lalou Ngalula Mupompa is a compassionate medical doctor with 22 years of experience across general practice, primary healthcare, district hospital medicine, paediatrics and public health. She obtained her MBChB from the University of Kinshasa, later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of Pretoria, and has undertaken additional training in HIV Management.
She established her practice in Vanderbijlpark to make a meaningful difference in the surrounding community, particularly for people who may have limited access to healthcare or face financial and other challenges.
She describes herself as someone with a big heart who feels deeply for others. Empathy is central to the way she cares for her patients, and she finds fulfilment in every part of her work, as long as she can help someone and make their life a little easier.
“If I can make someone’s life a little easier, ease their suffering, or bring them hope, then I have made a difference. As long as I have the opportunity to do good, I will always try.”
Our vision
To provide care in an environment where patients feel welcomed, heard, respected and understood.
Being a doctor is about more than diagnosing and treating illness. It is about listening with compassion, understanding each patient’s circumstances, and helping people through difficult moments in their lives.
The promises we keep to every patient who walks through our door.
Every consultation starts with your concerns, in your words. You are heard and understood.
We take time to understand what you are going through, because even small acts of care make a difference.
Consultations in English, French and Sesotho, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Every patient is treated with kindness, patience and respect, whatever their age or background.
Your medical information is kept confidential and handled in line with POPIA.
